Day 1: Arrival in Siem Reap – Half-day city tour (-/L/D). Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, you meet your guide and transfer to your selected hotel. Check-in time is from 2:00 pm. After lunch, visit the handicraft center Artisans d'Angkor. Then stop at Wat Thmei, which features a glass-walled stupa containing the bones of Khmer Rouge victims. Continue to the War Memorial Monument, dedicated to those who lost their lives during the civil war. You also visit the small shrine of Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm, two standing Buddha statues associated with local legends. After dinner at a local restaurant, you can explore the Night Market and Pub Street before making your own way back to the hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.
