We chose the name ‘Maya’ for our cruise because it translates to ‘mother’ in Arabic, which accurately reflects our respect for the legend of the mother dragon, who created Halong Bay in a fiery battle to protect Vietnam. With this in mind, the service on board the Maya Cruise takes care of our passengers as if they were our visiting offspring.
